When you are waiting to be seen, find somewhere completely private like the toilet and carry out the “Sarnoff Squeeze”. Simply Google this on the internet and you will find that those feelings that were bothering you will have disappeared. It’s a practical trick and it certainly is effective.

In the interview

Remember that the reason that you are in the room in the first instance is that the company needs to employ someone. It might as well be you and not anyone else. The interview is an artificial scenario and in many cases, the interviewer will be equally nervous.

Answering the question they ask you

When someone asks a question, they more often than not require an answer and preferably an answer to the question that they ask. It stands to reason then that answering the question is the correct thing to do. So many interviewees waffle on in job interviews and don’t answer the question.
