Before the interview

In the interview

Remember that the reason that you are in the room in the first instance is that the company needs to employ somebody. It might as well be you and not anyone else. The interview is an artificial environment and in many cases, the interviewer will be equally nervous.

Answering the question they ask you

When people ask a question, they usually require an answer and preferably the answer to the question that was asked. It makes sense then that answering the question is the correct thing to do. So many interviewees waffle on in job interviews and avoid answering the question. From the interviewer’s perspective, this is frustrating and annoying so please don’t do this.
